Farming for the Future is a 5-year pilot that will be running until 2029 across 178 farms in Scotland, England and Wales to provide on-farm environmental data. Collecting data from trees, hedges and soils the aim is to get a better understanding of how British agriculture can reduce emissions, increase carbon stocks, enhance the soil health and boost biodiversity. This will then enable farmers to take insight-led action to move towards a more sustainable future.
Our crews travelled to 3 different farms to capture a whole bank of stunning footage to provide a starting point for the pilot and we will be back every year until 2029 to capture the progress made at each location.
Production
Early morning sunrises, torrential downpours, dusty trails, sludgy mud and wet cement - and that was just day 1! This project really had it all and is the kind of productions the whole crew thrive in, being out and about and capturing the absolute best out of any conditions, landscape and location.
We had 2 video crew, director, a drone op and a photographer capturing a whole suite of content for this campaign. There was a lot of miles, a lot of locations and a lot of stakeholders involved but the outputs speak for themselves - a fantastic campaign with some incredible footage to launch it,.
Post-Production
This campaign had a wide range of outputs - each with their own specific brief so the first stage was to sift down the terrabytes of footage we had and catalogue it all - this always takes longer than you think!
We really wanted to push the colour grade on this project to really show off the landscapes at their best. The campaign has been incredibly successful since launch, as of July 2026, the content has had over 6 million views on Instagram.
