Videographer

We're excited to announce an opening for a Videographer to join the team. We are looking for someone who has experience of the video production workflow and is looking for their next opportunity working on a wide range of projects, producing high-quality films. This position is suited to someone who will enjoy a varied role, can work on multiple projects at a time, is meticulously organised to meet deadlines with a friendly, honest and genuine approach.

// The right candidate will have:

  • Amazing video skills and an interest for all things technical

  • Experience in planning and facilitating video shoots

  • Experience in not only filming, but editing a project to completion

  • Strong time and project management skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • A genuine passion for filmmaking and the creative industries

  • A Full UK Driving License, access to a vehicle & valid passport

// The skills we need:

  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premier Pro & After Effects)

  • Solid experience using professional camera, monitoring, lighting and audio systems

  • Capable of managing end-to-end production and creative direction autonomously

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented settings

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy taking the lead on projects

From pre to post-production, you must be willing to get involved with all stages of the process while working closely with the rest of the team and the end client. We are a small core team and joining us means becoming an integral part of the company.

// Responsibilities would include:

  • Attend shoots (both in-house and on location ) setting up equipment and shooting required footage either as part of a crew or solo

  • Collate and organise footage from shoots

  • Review the raw footage and build the edit from brief in Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Suggest and select music, stock footage etc, as appropriate

  • Consult with internal team and clients to continue developing the edit, incorporating feedback, to make decisions to move through to final edit

  • When the edit is finalised, grade the footage, mix the audio as required and output to the clients specification

  • Create simple motion graphics to enhance live video

// Who We Are

Digital Triangle Creative is a digital media studio specialising in branded content across 3 disciplines: video production, motion graphics & photography. Working with a wide range of clients in a diverse range of sectors including food & drink, live events, sports, not-for-profit, music and more. We work closely alongside agencies and direct with clients to produce creative, engaging content. We have some big plans for later in the year and look forward to the team growing and being part of it all.

We are based in Studio 33 which houses 2 separate video production companies. We have a co-working space and a dedicated video/photo studio where we can facilitate a range of shoots for different clients and when not in use it can be used for practising setups, filming spec ads, personal projects etc.

// Flexible Working

Flexibility can make work a whole lot more enjoyable as it can fit into, and around, your life. We will always aim to be as flexible as possible with working hours, days, locations etc, but due to the nature of some of our jobs there will be times where we need to be in the studio, away on location or sometimes work outside of normal hours.

// Generous Holidays

We offer a holiday entitlement of 35 days and we close for around 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year. We also offer one 4-day working week every month equating to an additional 12 days off per year.

// Domestic & International Travel

We travel all across Scotland, the UK and usually have 2 or 3 international jobs a year so there are plenty opportunities to get out and about.

33 India Street, Edinburgh - just outside Stockbridge and 5 minutes from the city centre!

// Salary

Expected Start Date: May/June

Starting Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Salary is DOE, which can increase based on performance and time within the team.
